In 2018, Alex Kopacz and pilot Justin Kripps crossed the finish line in a historic dead heat—tying for Olympic gold in two-man bobsled. It was only the second tie for gold in Olympic bobsled history. But 18 months earlier, Alex wasn’t sure he’d ever compete again. A huge injury had sidelined him during the most critical season of his career. Today, Alex channels that same relentless drive into keynote speaking, coaching elite athletes, inventing, entrepreneurship, and hosting The Good Trek—an international docuseries showcasing people creating positive change around the world.

I’ve been drawn to pushing human limits since childhood—from wilderness canoe trips to training with Olympic coaches in the German Alps. Along the way, I’ve faced torn muscles, career-threatening setbacks, and moments where quitting would have been the easy choice. I didn’t quit.
My core beliefs I believe resilience isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build. My mission is to help audiences discover what they’re truly capable of when they stop playing it safe.
My mission is to inspire others to step out of comfort zones, leaving a legacy of resilience and generosity. Let’s navigate life’s tapestry together, united in growth, creativity, and connection.

“Our company was in search of a dynamic speaker for our annual convention. We have had world class speakers in the past and it really sets the tone for the event. Alex absolutely did not disappoint! His personal stories were engaging and relatable. I can say that we all left inspired to reach higher and not give up on our goals. A complete bonus that he was so accessible to attendees after the show; would absolutely recommend for any company looking to inspire their team. “

“Alex is a very engaging speaker and knows how to captivate the hearts and minds of the audience. I would certainly recommend Alex for your next keynote.”
